C.R. Morrison    is a unique individual and thriving artist. He possess well rounded and versatile knowledge in a variety of  categories, which is reflected not only in his artwork but is what makes CR who he is. His focus is not on his accomplishments done, but on consistently improving his life as well as the life of others.  C.R. feels privileged for the opportunity to champion others and share his experiences.  His independent thinking is contrary to repetitiously following the beaten path to art shows and other polished attractions.  Instead, he chooses to promote his artwork through personal relationships built on his reputation and integrity.  He realized early in his career that it didn't work to be monetarily motivated.  He simply paints and sculpts what he knows and feels of the real west;  stories and memories from his history.

This strategy has worked out well for C.R., and as the records show, he has been selling out most editions since 1981.  He says, "Don't be mistaken, I created some bad stuff too, but the good ones made up for it."  Staying focused on the bigger picture may be C.R.'s most admirable characteristic.  He is not only an accomplished self-taught artist but has the ability to simultaneously pay close attention to sound business procedures.  He is not plagued by missed or passed opportunities, and has some how consistently been in the right place at the right time.  C.R. claims it to be God's favor.
